TerranScapes ~ Barriers and Obstacles

Barrels and crates are cast in UltraCal30 and are mounted on a hardboard base. See the youtube video for additional views of these stands.

Solid casting in Ultracal 30 from original molds. Each section is 6" (15 cm) long. Walls come in four variations which are selected from at random.

Fieldstone Walls (Set of 4 stands)

Cast from Hirst Art molds in Ultracal 30. Includes 4 connection blocks to allow for a single continuous wall of various configurations. Each section is 5" (12.5 cm) long and 1/2" (1.25 cm) high.

Wooden Fences (Set of 4 stands)

Fences are constructed from bass wood for enhanced durability and bases are constructed from polystyrene. Each stand is 6" (15 cm) long and approximately 1" (2.5 cm) high.

Stands are approximately 3" (7.5cm) high and are based to match the jungle terrain line. Each base has an abundance of highly detailed and varied jungle foliage including vines clinging to the pillars. The pillars feature various primative carvings and are cut from polystyrene. Each is painted to a high standard.

Based on plywood the stand averages over 9" x 9" in size. Various sized upright stones ring the stand and the number of stones will vary.

Difficult Ground

UltraCal30 cast rocks mounted on hardboard and measuring approximately 8" in diameter.

Large Granite Rock Stands (Set of 2 stands)

Varying in size from 4" (5cm) to 5" (8cm) in length and up to 3" high, these stands are hand carved from extruded polystyrene foam and based on hardboard. See the youtube video for additional views of these stands.

Rock Outcroppings (Set of 3 stands)

Varying in size from 2" (5cm) to 3.5" (8cm) in length, these stands are cast with a resin shell and are backed by foam. .

These pieces are resin castings with a foam backing and the firing platforms are cast from UltrCal30. The walls are scaled to completely conceal 28-30mm models from the eye view of attacking models. Moveable firing platforms are provided to allow models to fire over the sandbags. Please see the YouTube video for additional descriptions of their design, use and compatibility with various miniatures.

Purchase multiple sets to create a variety of defensive barriers. When used in two rows, players can create trenches, or when formed into a circle, players can create a redoubt. No other system allows for variable width in trenches, flexibility in angle creation or length of walls. These pieces provide maximum flexibility in arrangements at a minimal sacrifice in tight seams.

Cast in UltraCal30 given a wash paint job. Each set includes 6 straights, and two bends (one inward bend and one outward bend). Forms a linear barrier 18" long.

Sandbags - Straight (1 piece)

Cast in resin from original molds. Stands are approximately 4" (15 cm) long and 3/4" (2 cm) high. Sandbag walls come in four variations which are selected from at random.

Sandbags - Curved (1 piece)

Cast in resin from original molds. Stands are approximately 3" (15 cm) long and 3/4" (2 cm) high. Sandbag corners come in two variations which are selected from at random.

Craters

These craters are cast in resin/plastic The craters have openings that vary from 3.5" to 2" across.

Craters - Martian Finish

These are the the same craters listed above. They are painted to match the Martian Modular Boardset.

These tank traps are styrene I-beams. 'Welded' together, they pose a hazard to tread vehicles and were widely used in many wars. The bars are painted to model rusting iron.

Stands are approximately 1/2" (1.25 cm) high and 6" (15 cm) long. The uprights are styrene angle iron which is firmly 'buried' in the base. The uprights are painted to model rusting iron.
