Shipping Costs
The shopping cart for Paypal has preset shipping costs for various price intervals.
The amount charged for shipping, via the shopping cart is accurate
only up to $200 in purchases. Domestic orders over $200 and all
international orders will have additional shipping charges once the
items are packaged and ready for mailing. Shipping costs are calculated
at the price of postage plus $7/box. This extra fee covers the cost
of packing materials and time to pack the box. If you have any questions regarding
what shipping charges on a large order might be prior to placing an order,
please contact me and I will provide you with a better estimate.
Shipping Time
Due to the varying complexity of work orders and constantly fluctuating numbers
of orders in the work queue, the time it will take to ship your order will
vary. Current estimates for shipping time range around 18-20+ weeks
from date of order. Please understand that TerranScapes is a very
small business working under high demand. I cannot give exact dates for projected
shipping as unexpected delays, and a deep work queue make this impossible
for me. TerranScapes is not a typical store with mass production and fast
turnaround times. High quality hand crafted terrain is a time consuming process
so long wait times are to be expected.
When you place and order however, I will personally confirm your PayPal order, usually within 24-48 hours or placing the order. This response is sent the email address provided by PayPal so you may want to check to make sure you PayPal email address is up to date. When I begin work on your order, I typically contact you again at that time to provide an update on progress.
Important Note: If you have moved recently, your PayPal home address may not be correct (this has happened for a few customers). This can result in additional fees as parcel post items that are returned are charged for return postage. Please check your PayPal address before placing an order if you have any reason to believe it may need updating. If at any time your address is likely to change, please contact me and I will update your work slip with the new address information.
U.S. Shipping
Shipping in the United States is usually done by priority mail through the
USPS. This shipping takes 2-3 days. For large packages, parcel post offers
a much cheaper rate and will be selected when appropriate. Parcel post usually
takes about 5-9 days to arrive.
International Shipping
International buyers have several options for shipping and can request packages
to be shipped via the following methods:
- Express Mail International (3-5 days to arrive) - higher cost and insurable
- Priority Mail International (6-10 days) - Medium cost and insurable and includes tracking information
- First Class International (formerly Air Letter Post) (?? days)- Lowest cost but not insurable (available for small packages only) - No tracking info available.

Shipping fees for other countries are higher than the calculated fees on the shopping cart page. In order to add in the additional cost required please include your preferred email address with your purchase and indicate how you would like your package shipped and whether you would like it insured.
Paypal allows me to send you a request for the additional amount, even if your not a PayPal account user. I will send you a request for the needed amount after I have packaged your order so that I can accurately calculate your postage.
*** Please Note: Many countries have a VAT (Value
Added Tax) that must be paid by the recipient when the package arrives.
The post office in many cases will hold the package there until you go to
claim it in person. If you have your order shipped Priority
International, tracking information will be sent that can alert you to when
your order has cleared customs. You will need to go to the post office to
pay the VAT charges to receive your package.
Postal Insurance
Insurance is strongly recommended on all international orders and on any
domestic orders that total more than $50. This policy is for the peace
of mind of myself and you, the buyer. Frequently, international orders can
get hung up in customs for unspecified periods of times and the thought that
a valuable purchase may have been lost does not make for an enjoyable buying
experience.
Please note that TerranScapes cannot assume any liability for packages that are shipped uninsured. While generally my experience with the postal service has been positive and reliable, accidents and lost packages do rarely occur. Please keep this in mind when placing an order.

TerranScapes wants to ensure you are completely satisfied with every
purchase you make and offers a 30 day money back guarantee on every purchase.
If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, please
return the item and your original purchase costs will refunded. Please notify
me of your intent to return an item and indicate when the item shipped.
